Weight tensioning is used for high temperature
products as well as for systems conveying
abrasive products. It compensates for any kind
of chain elongation and requires less maintenance
than spring spindle tensioning.
The hydraulic damper allows for less tensioning
weight, thereby increasing the service life.

Tension Station

Automatic electromechanical
chain tensioning device

Temperature differences, product resistances or wear
can cause the chain to get longer or shorter. Unlike the
spring-loaded spindle take-up, the electromechanical
chain tensioning device regulates this difference fully
automatically.
This increases the operational safety of the conveyor
and also the life of the wear parts. It is mainly used
where long conveyors are operated under varying
conditions or whenever small spaces inhibit the use
of conventional weight tensioning.
